Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Life Coach working with individuals, couples, and families. Her work with individuals encompasses all ages, from toddlers to adolescents and young adults – to adults in mid-life and beyond.

The theoretical perspectives incorporated into her practice include solution-focused therapy; cognitive behavioral concepts, the use of journaling and poetry therapy techniques; choice therapy; and play and sand tray therapy with children and adults. Her approach arises out of a strengths-based foundation and is positive and empowering.

Areas of specialization include anxiety; building healthy relationships; grief and loss; self-esteem; parenting; anger and stress management; aging and caretaking issues; personality development, and women’s issues. She particularly enjoys working with groups and facilitating workshops.

Her coaching work has focused primarily on mid-level to front-line managers who want to improve their leadership skills. Developing a collaborative management style; improving leadership skills; enhancing communication, conflict management; working with different personality styles; and building strong work teams are her primary areas of focus. She is also certified in Advanced Mediation and Collaboration, as well as Critical Incident Stress Management.
