Marshall Allan Divita received his Master of Education in Counseling from Southwest Texas State University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University
Marshall has over 25 years of professional experience in the field of Counseling and Psychotherapy. During his career he has worked in a variety of counseling settings including: psychiatric hospital (The Sandstone Center), university counseling centers (Southwest Texas State University and St. Edward’s University), community agencies (Waterloo Counseling Center, SafePlace, New Life Institute), and his been in private practice since 1992. Additionally, he is an Associate Professor at the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas.
Marshall works with individuals, couples/partners, groups and families and specialization are: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression/anxiety, sexual assault/abuse, domestic violence, GLBTQ issues, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
He is a member, in good standing, of the American Counseling Association and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
