My name is Lauren Tomison. I believe that every person is equipped with what it takes to change and reach their desired outcome. I also believe that we are influenced by the relationships around us and these relationships are an important factor to our well-being. During therapy, I want to offer the perspective that brings someone to where their greatest hopes are. Through building a trusting and sincere relationship, we can create an environment that inspires movement toward your goals. Whether you are experiencing relationship conflict, blended family issues, family and life transitions, feelings of depression, anxiety, hopelessness or loss of control, I want to meet you where you are and assist you in finding hope and self-awareness to gain the changes that you desire.
I am a graduate student at Capella University working towards my Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. As an intern at New Life Institute, I am excited to work with individuals, couples and families working towards their goals. I have previously spent 10 years working with families and children with disabilities.
I currently work with individuals, adolescents/children, couples and families. I know that choosing a therapist is an important task and I commend you for taking the first step toward your own wellness.
Lauren obtained her bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University and is working towards her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling Therapy at Capella University. Lauren is supervised by Marshall Divita, LPC-S, LMFT-S.
