How Does This Work?
When you're ready to set an appointment with a therapist, call our office weekdays between 9:00 and 1:00, or better yet, fill out our online intake form, and a member of our team will contact you.
You'll answer some basic questions about yourself and share (to your comfort level- detailed or general) what you're seeking help with in order to match you with the right therapist. This process takes between five and ten minutes.
Our Clinical Director makes a referral to a therapist who has expertise with the issue in question, is trained in a particular technique, has openings, and/or accepts your insurance. If a particular therapist's bio from our "Staff" page resonates with you, feel free to request a therapist, and we'll prioritize your preference.
Your therapist will contact you directly, and you'll arrange a time to meet with your therapist that works for you both (or everyone in the cases of couples and families). The whole process typically takes 24-48 hours, which you know is fast if you've been shopping around for a therapist.
If you are using insurance for session fees, you will need to contact our billing specialist, Laurel Gonzales, at 512-292-1122 with your policy information. Be sure to do this *after* you have scheduled your session with your therapist, as she will need your appointment date.
Then you just need to arrive at your appointment time or a little before. There is a gravel parking lot to the left of the yellow brick, two-story house we operate out of where you are welcome to park facing the building. Help yourself to water, coffee, or tea while you wait.
Session fees or copays can be paid by credit or debit card (except American Express), check, or exact cash (we can't make change).
Contact us if you have any other questions. We look forward to working with you!
