I like the name “New Life Institute” because it sounds hopeful – it reminds us that we have another chance to make a new beginning – to start over, move beyond the past, and make changes toward growth and becoming our best selves.
I believe there is a vital relationship between our mind, bodies, emotions, and spirit. Counseling can be a powerful tool to help when these get out of balance. I come with a Christian perspective but I will respect your preference if you personally are not comfortable with spirituality at this time. My basic goals for you can best be summarized as Healing, Hope and Wholeness.
I utilize two therapeutic philosophies known as Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in counseling because I believe that our life is a story and we have the opportunity to actually “rewrite” our story to have a much more positive, healthy, and hopeful focus.
So that’s why I am here and I am ready to partner with you to face and work toward overcoming the issues holding you back from living your best life.
