Carolynn Cobb, MS., practicum student, Walden.

Carolynn is in the clinical psychology doctorate program at Walden University. She works with all types of issues and enjoys helping clients develop their own mental fitness program. Mental fitness is more than an absence of mental illness. It is living life at the fullest potential. Mental fitness involves levels of stress and anxiety, the way an individual thinks about herself / himself and the ability to cope with life’s ups and downs, in other words, self-esteem and self-confidence. Some of the tools used in a mental fitness program might include cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, meditation, cognitive training, attention or working memory training, and biofeedback.
