About The Instructor
Bob Breihan,
is a veteran career counselor in Austin. He has offered at least 3
workshops a year for twenty years, assisting a wide variety of folks
of all ages including those seeking to change jobs, those newly entering
the world of work or after a time of not being employed, those exploring
their retirement years or those wanting to check up on themselves.
The workshops and the coaching are designed to more fully equip the
job hunter or career developer with critically important tools for their
task.
Breihan says his major inspiration in the field
comes from well know writer, Richard Bolles (What Color is Your
Parachute?) whom he began training with in 1974 and continued
through 1997, when he spent 2 weeks with him in Bend, OR. Additionally,
he incorporates the thinking of other leaders in the field; Daniel
Porot of Switzerland (PIE Method of Career Success),
John Holland (Self Directed Search), John Crystal and
others.

Library, City of Austin Electric Department, and other entities in
